Having recently opened the doors to the refurbished Jolleys Café, Grayshott Pottery celebrated with a breakfast party for some of the businesses and individuals behind the creation of its new look

“We are delighted with how the café looks now and everyone on the project did a really superb job,” says Grayshott Pottery retail manager, Janet McWilliam. “Our customers certainly seem to like the result too.”

Having shut just after the Easter break, the café now showcases a new modern, almost retro look designed by Bob Cardona of Grayshott business CDA Option One.

New floors, finishes to walls and paintwork were all updated with challenging precision in order that new fitted counters and serveries and lighting systems could all be installed.

At the same time the pottery commissioned its production team to replace all its catering-ware with everything from pepper pots, sugar bowls, teapots and plates from its Soho and Soho Colours range and also created some brand new modern pottery light fittings.

“Employing local businesses where possible has always been an objective here at the Pottery,” says Glenn Myers, production director. “All involved have really gone the extra mile for us.”
