Chalk Hills Bakery, South Nutfield

This news came straight out of the blue! We had no idea the people of Surrey were voting for us, which makes us feel especially proud of our produce. We strive to bake consistently great tasting, high quality bread, made by hand with care and skill. What makes us special, is the fact that we have developed a product range of bread, pastries and cakes which are not mass produced, and is local to Surrey. It is a great honour to be a finalist among some amazing food and drink producers.

Dylan’s Ice Cream, Haslemere

I am pleased that the people of Surrey understand what we were trying to achieve and have been really supportive since we opened. I like to think we have created both a really good product, and a welcoming environment in which to enjoy it. We are lucky enough to make a product that everyone enjoys, from small children to pensioners. We offer a genuinely locally sourced product, we take great pride in finding the best local growers that can supply us with some brilliant raw ingredients, that allow us to create a range of ice cream flavours that change with the season.

Silent Pool Gin, Albury

We are a young business and we’re thrilled that we’ve made it through as a finalist. When we set out to make a fantastic gin in the Surrey Hills we believed there was a huge gin local fan base and us getting to the finals proves that is true. Without all of the gin fans that have sampled and bought Silent Pool Gin and our other products voting for us we wouldn’t be here. This is the start of our journey so watch out for more exciting and innovative products and remember you’re always welcome to drop in if you’re passing.
