Surrey Hills Butchers, Oxshott

To know that our customers have taken time to put us forward is warming. We are very traditional in the way we operate, we make connections with people and do everything we can to fulfil their needs. We work on repeat custom so we have no interest in a product that is not up to the mark. I have worked in butchery since I was 13, my journey has been amazing. It feels like I have been walking a bridle path round the country side, being a finalist feels like I’m starting to walk the fields and forests. One day I’ll work the farm.

Black Barn Butchers, Milford

All of us are very proud to be nominated and would like to thank our customers for voting for us. Customers obviously appreciate the variety of products we offer, from traditional cuts to more unique products. Since we opened three-and-a-half years ago, we have experienced continual growth and are now embarking on an expansion plan to double the shop area. From day one it has been our philosophy to offer high-end meat at affordable prices, which remains our intent.

Graham Turner Butchers, Pyrford

I’ m surprised and very appreciative to be voted by my customers for this award. I’ve always strived to provide an excellent standard of butchery in all aspects and it’s an honour to be voted for. We offer dependable quality and service 52 weeks a year, providing old school butchery with an artisan vision. We have a varied range of over 100 products, providing the finest Sunday roast or a-la-carte product for that special occasion. Our specialities include 21 to 45 day aged steak, Pyrford’s Pyrfect pork sausage and our famous ‘steak with more steak’ pie. Overall, I’m overwhelmed for the appreciation of my work.
