The Cricketers, Horsell

We are absolutely thrilled to be a finalist. We are proud to deliver great food and drinks and really make all our customers feel welcome. With our excellent main and specials menus and separate Kids’ Menu we offer great choice to diners of all ages. We provide no-mess Wikki Stix and a kids’ colouring competition to younger diners and have a great play area in our beautiful back garden. We have an outside bar selling drinks and ice creams and are very popular for family celebrations.

Henry’s Grill, Esher

We are delighted to have been nominated for this award. I think Surrey people voted for us because we are independent and sustainable; we offer a friendly atmosphere and food suitable for kids. Our kids’ menu offers home-made chicken, fish and burgers, cooked on our rotisserie charcoal grill. We’ve been certified by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) – for example, the interior walls are made from reclaimed Surrey timber. We use local suppliers and support local charity Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice. I want to thank my customers for nominating us.

The Rose & Crown, Thorpe

We are proud to have been nominated and would like to thank people for voting for us. Our gorgeous, traditional pub has something for all ages with delicious food and drinks and a special kids’ menu. We have a colouring competition and craft sticks to keep little hands busy, a small play area and a garden bar selling drinks and ice creams. In warmer weather our beautiful gardens offer a chance to relax and enjoy a drink or a meal while the kids can play safely.
