In Hampton Court Palace’s 500th anniversary year, it promises to be the perfect summer treat, offering opportunities to sample great food and drink in spectacular surrounds.

With over 100 individually handpicked artisan producers and companies, offering an eclectic mix of tasty titbits, the festival is a must-visit for foodies, running from Saturday August 29 to Monday August 31.

Away from the stalls, the BBC Good Food Festival centres on the new 400 seat Summer Kitchen theatre, with a fantastic line-up of celebrity chefs and experts sharing their top tips and cooking live on stage.

Once again the festival has teamed up with the uber-chic Richmond hotel, The Bingham, who will be serving up a delicious selection of taster dishes from their pop-up restaurant and serving summer cocktails, fine wines and Champagne from the Bingham Bar.

Meanwhile, in the Tudor kitchens, Hampton Court Palace’s team of historic chefs will be showing off some more traditional culinary skills.

There will be live music in the gardens throughout the festival, so grab a deckchair, chill out, pour a tipple and feast like a king or queen.

Tickets start from £17.50. Visit www.bbcgoodfoodfestival.com for more information.
