A Whitgift education is unique; we offer a wider range of qualifications than any other British school, including International Baccalaureate, A Level and BTEC.

We also have a bilingual section for native French speakers. Exchanges, visits and scholarship programmes are in place with more than 25 countries worldwide. Whitgift is regularly ranked amongst the countrys top schools for achievement. The School offers generous scholarships, bursaries and other awards.

Whitgifts record in sport is exceptional and at the forefront of achievement nationally, with 53 national titles won in the past two years. Over 30 sports are available at Whitgift, including in all the major team games of rugby, hockey, football and cricket. Many boys represent their country in a wide variety of sports, or go on to careers at the highest level in sport.

An exciting Performing Arts programme is produced at the School, with operas, musicals and plays performed both in London and abroad. Orchestras and choirs tour regularly and perform at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall, Goodwood House and the Royal Pavilion, Brighton. The School enjoys a close link with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, enabling pupils to perform with professional musicians.

Co-curricular activities at Whitgift feature more than 80 clubs and societies, as diverse as the Investment Society, Animal Club, Astronomy, Italian Drama, Green Team and the Sequential Art Club. In addition, Outdoor Education - offering sailing, wakeboarding, skiing, mountain biking and more - introduces boys to new and exciting activities.

The School also gives boys the chance to enter into the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, highly regarded by admissions tutors and employers alike. Furthermore, Whitgift has a well-established Combined Cadet Force containing elements of all three Army, RAF and Royal Navy services and one of the oldest Corps of Drums in the country.

Already a leading UK independent boys school, Whitgift will offer boarding from September 2013 for boys aged 13-18. The addition of a state-of-the-art, 6m Boarding House, will offer full, weekly and flexi-boarding.

The students who board with us will have a unique opportunity to develop even further, through wider access to all the Schools facilities, thus ensuring they are exceptionally well-equipped for life after Whitgift.
