Providing the best foundation for success is central to all that takes place at Epsom College.

On visiting the College you cannot fail to be impressed by the outstanding buildings and grounds on the 84 acre estate, all within easy commuting distance from the centre of London and both Gatwick and Heathrow international airports.

An ambitious building programme has incorporated extensive modern facilities into the College, ensuring that there are outstanding opportunities for all. Exceptional DT and IT facilities, a state-of-the-art Library, a magnificent teaching block for Humanities, refurbished Science Laboratories, a new Fitness Suite and Performing Arts Studios are some of the most recent additions, as well as a rolling programme of House refurbishment.

Epsom College, originally founded to educate the sons of doctors, seeks to develop the whole boy or girl, drawing out an individual’s talents and interests. We work with families to prepare boys and girls for the future as they strive for the highest standards of excellence in academic work as well as in other areas of school life.

With the great majority of the teaching staff living within the grounds they, together with the 732 boys and girls, form an integrated community whose strength lies in the emphasis it places on tolerance, the understanding of others and the opportunities it offers to develop potential.

A committed staff of over 100, excellent pastoral care and an experienced new Headmaster, Jay Piggot, ensure that Epsom College continues to build on the long-established House system that is pivotal in a boarding school.

Fully co-educational, Epsom College boasts modern House accommodation, with four Houses having been sympathetically refurbished and modernised this summer at a cost of £2.5 million. Success in an exhaustive range of co-curricular activities has never been better, whilst recent academic results have been excellent.

In 2013 24% of all A2 grades were A* with 54% either A* or A. Continued strength was seen in the traditional academic subjects. Over half the Upper Sixth year group sat A2 Economics, with 60% achieving A* to A. Mathematics saw 53% A* to A with Chemistry 56% and Physics 47%, reflecting the College’s distinguished tradition of sending pupils to study Medicine, Science, Economics and Engineering at University.

Increasingly, Sixth Formers supplement their A levels with an additional course in AS Critical Thinking and an A2 Extended Project. In the Extended Project 57% of the grades were at A* with an outstanding 92% A* to A.

Epsom College has a long tradition of educating boys and girls from local, national and international locations, providing an outstanding all round education alongside unrivalled pastoral care.
