Surrey has been used as a film location for many a blockbuster movie and the county’s hotels, woods and villages are no stranger to visits from the Hollywood A-list. Here’s just a few of the movies that have been, at least in part, filmed in Surrey

The number of movies with scenes filmed right here in Surrey may well come as a surprise – there are loads! From Hot Fuzz to Skyfall to Harry Potter, the familiar landscape of this lovely county has graced our cinemas on many occasions. Since the list of films was so extensive, we’ve split it into genres for you, in which you’ll be sure to spot some familiar sights from the village of Shere to Hampton Court Palace. Watch as they are transformed by film crews into everything from settings for spooky goings-on through to being the scene of a blossoming romance…
