Surrey Life’s second exhibition showcasing our readers’ Beautiful Surrey photography takes place in the gallery at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking from Monday January 19 to Sunday January 25, 2015.

Among the 35 images on display will be this stunning picture on the right, the overall winner in our recent photography competition. Taken by Stephen Darlington, who lives in East Molesey, it shows a deer at Bushy Park.

“Just like last year, I was amazed by the overall quality of the pictures submitted,” says Adam Scorey, head honcho at Surrey Life’s sister title Photography Monthly, who judged the competition and selected the images that appeared in our new calendar.

“I chose the overall winner because it has a magic that immediately caught my eye.”

Having run the Beautiful Surrey photography section in Surrey Life magazine for many years, it was only a matter of time before a calendar and exhibition were introduced to complement our monthly showcase.

“We’re really excited to be back at Denbies again,” says Surrey Life editor, Caroline Harrap. “As one of the most picturesque settings in our county, it’s the perfect place to show off the beautiful images taken by our talented readers.”

The Surrey Life readers’ photography exhibition, which takes place in the gallery upstairs, is once again free to view.

• Surrey Life’s 2015/2016 calendar and exhibition will feature an Icons of Surrey theme. All pictures submitted through the year will be in the running, as well as considered for our monthly Beautiful Surrey photography pages. Enter your pics with us at surreylife.co.uk/photos
