Thursday September 18

Celebrating the county’s business excellence, this year’s Surrey Business Awards will be launched at the country’s largest vineyard, Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, on Thursday September 18.

Now in its fourth year, the awards have gone from strength to strength, becoming increasingly competitive each year, and attendees at the launch party will be able to pick up tips on entering and hear the inspirational stories of previous winners.

As well as sampling Surrey’s very own wine and cheese, guests will be treated to a fascinating insight into the wine making process at Denbies, which won the Leisure and Tourism Award in the 2007/08 awards and is renowned for its stunning Surrey Hills location.

This year, Surrey Life has joined the Surrey Business Awards as the event’s media sponsor and is also sponsoring the prestigious Surrey Business Person of the Year award.

“Having been lucky enough to go to the awards ceremony before, I know what a fantastic event this is,” says Surrey Life editor Caroline Harrap. “We are delighted to be able to help promote and celebrate the success of Surrey business with this partnership and are really looking forward to seeing how this year’s awards pan out.”

  • If you would like more information about the Surrey Business Awards or would like to attend the launch event on Thursday September 18, please contact the awards office on 0870 609 3048.
