Regular Surrey Life readers will be well aware of the rise and rise of Woking Food & Drink Festival in the last few years and while the event’s bread and butter is Surrey’s top chefs and producers, the organisers also like to add a little extra luxury on occasions…
Taking place on Friday September 1, Pol Roger Champagne House’s director of wine, Cassidy Dart, will be hosting a Champagne dinner at The Lightbox gallery and museum.
Cassidy will present a hand-picked selection of six Champagnes and one red wine, while Seasons Café and Kitchen head chef Neil Tompkins, who developed his passion for British food at Rules of Covent Garden in London and more recently as head chef at Sands restaurant in Woking, has designed a menu to match.
Surrey Life has teamed up with the organisers to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets (worth £130) to the evening event.
