This month, he celebrates his engagement party with partner Jo and guests at Mercedes-Benz WorldMouthwatering food, wonderful company and brilliant entertainment – that’s what Jo and I were hoping for at our engagement party and, fortunately, that’s exactly what we got.
The 82 guests that joined us at Mercedes-Benz World’s Gullwing restaurant in Weybridge helped to make it a night we won’t ever forget for all the right reasons.
Entertainment was provided by our close friend Chris Morgan and her Irish dancers, the highly original musical comedy of Incognito Artists and the beautiful singing of Mrs Des O’Connor, Jodie Brooke.
To bring things to a splendid conclusion, the combined musical and comedy talents of Bobby Davro and the ever young Des O’Connor got everybody on their feet cheering and clapping. What a night!
Editor’s note: What Max hasn’t mentioned is that he and Jo requested no engagement presents but instead asked for gifts to be sent to the Chase children’s hospice in Guildford. The following day, 250 amazing presents arrived – from TVs to toys of every description. What a lovely thought. Well done, Max and Jo!
